TRAINER’S BACKGROUND:

I am a consultant in IT systems and networks infrastructure and started in the industry since 2001. I have had successful implementation and management experience in business-critical systems and telecommunications networks infrastructure. I am able to communicate on all business levels effectively, directing system processes, operating procedures and documentation on-site and for remote locations.
I have frequently conduct various technical courses with IT professionals from a wide spread of industries including oil and gas, banking, IT vendors to government sectors. My engagement in technical training started in year 2006. Courses that I deliver includes Cisco; CCNA, CCDA and CCNP, Microsoft IT Professional tracks, CompTIA and EC-Council’s CEH and CHFI. In many occasions, I also customize courses to meet certain project requirements undertaken by customers. This further enhances their understanding and concept applicability during their implementation. 1) Tridium Technologies Sdn. Bhd., (Sept 2001 – Feb 2002)

Position : Systems Engineer
Scope of work :
– Deploy and configure Microsoft Windows Client OS including Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 Professional, 2000 Professional and XP Professional.
– Perform configuration and maintenance work for 20 customer accounts nationwide on Windows 2000/2003 and Microsoft Exchange 2003.
– Maintenance of Active Directory, DNS resolution and MX records for Microsoft Exchange and Linux mail servers.
– Plan and determine system specifications, processes and for implementation of Group Policy Objects and security policies.
– Defining complex system requirements for software and networks.
– Ensure system hardware and software are compatible and capable of required performance metrics.

2) HP Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., (Feb 2002 – Dec 2003)

Scope of work :
– Install, configure, and support the LANs WANs and Internet systems.

– Manage IT project life-cycle handling roles from pre-sales, planning, designing, implementation and maintaining according to standard.
– Advise on strategic planning and operational efficiency for inter-branch VoIP and PABX integration.
– Plan and implement extranet network connections for local and abroad customers involving internet IP-VPN, Frame- Relay and MPLS solutions.
– Design enterprise campus network for customers to ensure SONA architecture is according to Cisco’s ECNM model utilizing Cisco’s multi-layer switches; 6500 and 4000 series chassis-switch and 3500 series.
– Frequent travel to maintain customer accounts nationwide.
– Provide training to staffs and Prove of Concept (POC) to customers on new solutions.

4) Shell IT International Malaysia, (Apr 2005 – Sept 2005)

Position : Backup and Storage Consultant/Administrator
Scope of work :
– Key role in the planning, deployment and support of Galaxy systems, magnetic drives and tape libraries.
– Provide backup support for SAN storage, SAP systems, Linux and Windows Server
operating environments.
– Support application requirements for backup including Exchange Server, SQL
Server and Oracle.
– Provide operational and on-call rotation support in a 24×7 environment and
ensure highest level of customer support through proactive problem ownership
and management, and adherence to change management standards.
